My very first polka dot dress by Jo Collins

I bought my very first polka dot dress at the end of this summer.

I fell in love with back of heavily boned bodice of this Jo Collins (Jo Collins was a junior label made by Mandel Manufacturing Company in St. Louis) labelled dress, which is open with corset lacing up the back.

I did not get to wear the dress in the summer but I wanted very much to use it. So I decided to wear it last week. Although the season for the summer dress was run out a long time ago.

With the dress I had chosen green box purse and green shoes which matched nicely with green polka dots.

For jewellery I had green charm bracelet and matching earrings set which I bought from my sister this autumn.

  1. Onpa kaunis ja erikoinen puku! Vaatii alusvaatteiltakin paljon, kun selkä jää kokonaan näkyviin.

    1. Kiitos Elina! Yläosa on hyvin luutettu ja tosi napakka, joten tuntuma on, ihme kyllä, aivan kuin olisi hyvät ja tukevat liivit päällä.

... big dots are always a little difficult, because of all these reproduction dresses - but this one looks really great and true vintage.

Yes, I'm a bit subjetive, since I adore green color, but still - you look smashing!
